Our Story

Seido Photonics is a division of Aurios Medical Canada Inc., a Canadian company specialized in imaging and laser-based technology. Founded in 2017 the Seido division focuses on developing laser-based imaging and manufacturing systems.

Seido’s team members have been collaborating on the development and design of manufacturing tools and various laser-based imaging modalities for inspection and biological imaging for over 20 years. We have decades of experience in laser-based processing, controls and software.

We work to identify new laser and control technologies and suppliers, and to leverage the latest developments in small scale manufacturing with the end goal of using lasers to improve imaging and manufacturing, while creating systems that are affordable for small-to-midsize companies and academic research laboratories.
